Girl? Boy? Due date? Important stuff!!!!

Oh yeah, almost forgot important stuff like that!

It's a girl!!!!!!!!

She will be delivered by c-section on Monday, February 11. After waiting the 72 hours, we can bring home a very special present on Valentine's Day!!!!

Unknown said...: Hi Andrea. How exciting for you both! I have friends who are in St. Louis right now picking up their new baby boy (assuming that the birth mother followed through on signing the papers). This past year, 3 of my friends have adopted! What a wonderfully, nerve-wracking journey.

The Gift of Adoption

We truly believe adoption is God's answer to our prayers and our desire to have a family.....

To anyone looking down the same road we are on....may God bless you in this journey. Knowing where to begin is difficult - we would highly recommend calling your local hospitals or an adoption agency to see if there are informational classes available. It has been the most valuable resource for us - we've met so many people who have experienced the highs and lows that come with this process. Share your journey with those around you - let people know you are beginning the process of adopting a child. You will be amazed how many people are adopted. We live in a small community and I don't think we've told a single person here who didn't say, "Oh, so-and-so's children are adopted," or "we adopted one of our kids." You can find other great resources through the links posted above.

I'll keep this updated as often as possible. I'll even see if I can get Nick to post now and again!!
